DataTrust is the first LEED Silver-certified data center that supports the implementation of processes designed to reduce environmental impact and optimize resource use, integrating efficiency and innovation into one of the country’s most advanced technological infrastructures. To achieve this certification, the facility had to meet six key criteria: location and transportation, sustainable site development, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, indoor environmental quality, and innovation and social responsibility.
This accreditation complements the Tier III certification awarded by the Uptime Institute and the Class A infrastructure already in place at the facility, which guarantees 99.982% uptime. Taken together, these certifications place DataTrust on par with the global standards demanded by international markets for data management—standards met by companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
In July 2024, the official launch ceremony for this major project was held, marking the start of its private cloud, public cloud, colocation, and cybersecurity services.
