DataTrust is the first data center in El Salvador to obtain LEED Silver certification, supporting the implementation of processes that reduce environmental impact and optimize resource use, integrating efficiency and innovation into one of the most advanced technological infrastructures in the country.
To achieve this recognition, six key indicators had to be met: location and transportation, sustainable site, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, indoor environmental quality, and innovation and social responsibility.
This accreditation adds to the Tier III certification granted by the Uptime Institute, as well as the Class “A” infrastructure already in operation, which ensures 99.982% service availability. Together, these certifications place DataTrust among the global standards required by international markets for data management—standards achieved by companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
In July 2024, the official inauguration of this major project took place, marking the beginning of its services in private cloud, public cloud, colocation, and cybersecurity.
